A feature of the face, infecting
Our thoughts, words and deeds
Faster and quicker than contagious
More recognisable than celebrity
A love’s desire and laughter's laugh
Hope’s trust and optimism’s wealth
A smile, tis called, attraction’s appeal
Tis it that makes a face beautiful
Its lure, more mesmeric than magnet
Mulling over satisfaction with glee
Has ensnared happiness in its bosom
Affably inviting the afflicted and all
Into a pleasantly compassionate cult
Arms wide open and a heartful heart
A curled lip, glittery eyes and warmth
To hug, cuddle and soothe ourselves

tis christmas
On a light harmattan morning,
A gaily festivity descended on us,
And an aroma of carols filled all,
Tis Christmas, the bells tolled.
Christmas is a fulfilled promise,
Of God’s promise, His love,
Our hearts gladden with joy.
Tis Christmas, the bells tolled.
A christened celebration of gaiety,
With wishes and presents and you,
A greater love our earth rejoices,
Tis Christmas, the bells tolled.
Merry tidings, we freely share,
As we’ve receive, so do we give,
To fulfil the vision – oneness of us,
Tis Christmas, the bells tolled.
A gaily festivity descended on us,
And an aroma of carols filled all,
Tis Christmas, the bells tolled.
Christmas is a fulfilled promise,
Of God’s promise, His love,

broken heartedness
Evening’s lure sent me strolling in pubs,
Then I found her, staring into a glass
Half full with wine, red as redeem;
There she sat, laughing her tears out.
A glass of wine and a solitary woman,
A perfect pair for a shivering hunter,
Seeking a snuggle, a burrow and a thrill;
Sliding next to her, I offered a shoulder.
Blinded to beauty and deaf to sensations,
Her sphere of thoughts was a galaxy away,
Her whims and wishes cast in concrete;
Her emotions soured with vengeance.
Short, icy replies, my conversations stirred,
Aerated anger aired, purged with ferocity,
An accommodating heart has hardened;
And revulsion tinged everything around her.
Thwarted fantasies had exhausted her,
Draping her strength with livid illusions,
As marooned as a pirate with emotions;
Her world was narrow and dark as hell.
Meaning has lost footing on solid ground,
Like shattered glass, her thoughts scattered,
Incited, infuriated and resigned to evil;
Her purpose, a revenge seeking compassion.
Then I found her, staring into a glass
Half full with wine, red as redeem;
There she sat, laughing her tears out.

you
The smile of You;
Makes me fall in love,
My brain empties,
And I cannot think.
The sight of You;
Makes my heart beat faster,
My knees wobble,
And I get tongue tied.
The touch of You;
Makes my skin radiates,
My groin tightens,
And I’m merrily aroused.
The taste of You;
Makes me shiver in excitement
My lips quiver,
And I drool hysterically.
The smell of You;
Makes me crave for youthfulness,
My senses awaken,
And I hate adulthood.
The feel of You;
Makes me sense my individuality,
My style magnifies,
And I want you, again and again.
Makes me fall in love,
My brain empties,
And I cannot think.

my dearest woman
Fantasizes of you, have I, since childhood;
You, I see every time I close my eyes,
You found me and you chose me-
Thankful and beholden, I am.
Oh beautiful one, stunningly attractive;
You who educated intelligence and character,
Dignity and faithfulness are your playmates-
And children long for you to be their mum.
You love the smell of dew, it intrigues me;
You make laughter and conviviality beam,
From ear to ear; they stand in awe of you,
And royalty is a secret admirer.
Peace, your elder sibling taught you etiquette,
And your mum; Hope is so proud of you.
Your starry eyes, lights up the heart of nature-
And your words calm mother earth.
The first dance, the world jazzed our rhythm.
Your gracefulness, it still amazes me;
Your whispers and touch belittles sensuality,
And attention courts your presence.
You get to my heart through my mind;
And your handiwork surpasses diligence.
Your arbitration skill makes dexterity clumsy-
You are the envy of most women.
The winds strain to hear you whisper;
And the stars sing you a lullaby at bedtime-
Whiles the moon guards you in your sleep.
How can I not adore? I’m afraid I may worship.
You are a gift from Onyankopon;
I am eternal indebted to Him, and why not?
Every moment I thank Him for you-
I now understand “it is not good for man to be alone”.
